The tool is intuitive, easy-to-use, and amazingly powerful. You can simply
drag-and-drop a graph, gauge, map, slider, or a plethora of other dashboard
display items, onto your screen and double-click to define the data and
properties. It uses Excel or XML as data sources. Data selection is as simple
as highlighting the cells on the spreadsheets. Likewise, linking an animated
display object, like a gauge or slider to the data, is just as simple. Xcelsius
uses Macromedia Flash for its display objects, which are visually sharp with
the smoothest of animation movement.
