3. Tips and
Tricks
|
Xcelsius Q&A
QUESTION:
Is it possible to filter data in Xcelsius without using any formulas
in Excel?
ANSWER:
Yes! The easiest way to
accomplish this is by using filtered rows. Below shows a dashboard in which we
need to filter Sales Revenue data by Country, by Region and by City.
Essentially we want a “cascading filter” effect.

Crystal Reports Q&A
QUESTION:
I have 3 groups; I would like to drill into the first group and see
the second group, then drill into the second group to see the third group; then
click on the third group to see group headers one, two, three and the details.
Is there a way I can achieve this?
ANSWER:
Yes! The “DrillDownGrouplevel” function allows you to suppress a
section conditionally. For example there are 3 groups: Country ->
Region->City.
