Audience

Specialists currently building universes in Universe Design Tool that will be transitioning to the new  Information Design Tool in BI 4.1

Prerequisites

Attendees should have a minimum of one year experience designing universes with Universe Design Tool and thorough knowledge of universe design concepts.  Attendees should also have a basic understanding of data warehouse concepts, SQL programming and SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence

Abstract

This boot camp is designed to transition universe designers from Universe Design Tool (UDT) to SAP BusinessObjects Information Design Tool 4.1 (IDT) and learn the workflow and development cycle of building a universe in IDT.  This will include the new IDT interface, the Connections/Data Foundation /Business Layer workflow and Object Creation..
