SABOC 2014 Sessions: How Bosch Uses SAP Dashboards (Xcelsius) for Rapid Application Development for Operational Needs

While traditionally, SAP Dashboards (Xcelsius) has been used for developing visual business intelligence applications and scorecards, many organizations have discovered that it is so incredibly versatile and easy to use that it can also be used as a Visual Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool. Bosch Automotive Services has been using it this way with truly amazing results in terms of delivering superior visual operational applications at a fraction of the time and cost that would have taken to use traditional application development tools. This session will discuss and demonstrate their latest application, which incorporates scanable bar codes into the dashboard along with write back functionality for their KANBAN logistic control system in their warehouses.
